The World EXPO is an internationally significant event in the field of exhibition business, which began in 1851. The first exhibition was held in London at the Crystal Palace of Hyde Park and was named “The Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations”. At EXPO exhibitions, attention is paid to the field of technology and global issues that face humanity. Due to the pandemic, the exhibition was postponed from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, and the name was decided not to change, but will remain the same – EXPO 2020. The exhibition will be held in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). The new theme of the exhibition is “Uniting Minds, Creating the Future”. The participating countries will use it as a tool for ideas of global progress and sustainable development.
The venue for EXPO 2020 will be the 438 hectares Dubai Trade Center, which was designed for the exhibition. 190 countries of the world have confirmed their participation in the exhibition. National pavilions will attract the attention of millions of visitors from all over the world, but they will also host heads of state, government delegations, investors, company leaders, and representatives of the world’s media.
Around 25 million guests will attend EXPO 2020 in Dubai, the first in World Expo history to feature a majority of visitors from abroad.
