La R\u00e9serve Rimbaud, a 1 Michelin star restaurant in Montpellier, is an old building immersed in greenery, a sunny terrace overlooking the Lez and, above all, an inventive cuisine that sublimates the products of our region as big as a country: l ‘ Occitania.
\nA cuisine inspired by nature that sublimates the products of our region. La R\u00e9serve Rimbaud invites us to rediscover the taste of this rare culinary luxury: simplicity. The chef and his team share the same desire to make the product and its origin speak, to find its rightful place for everyone, to play with tastes, never distorting this “exceptional regional raw material”, constantly updated throughout the seasons.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cMontpellier the Gifted\u201d, as the city likes to bill itself, provides the backdrop to this well-hidden restaurant on the banks of the Lez. Slightly off the beaten track, it boasts a divine riverside terrace shaded by plane trees \u2013 a refreshing haven in hot summers. This modern and sophisticated Reserve is located in an old country house, an Ali Baba\u2019s cavern of gourmet delights, unearthed from the little-known repertory of Languedoc-Roussillon. Former second of Alain Dutournier at the Carr\u00e9 des Feuillants, Charles Font\u00e8s signs intelligent compositions that revolves around the ingredient. Subtle plays of textures and flavours with an overriding goal of authentic simplicity. Seabream, squid and red mullet, Camargues eels and Lucques olives feature among the appetisers \u2013 Occitania on the table!
