The goal of every dish we serve at LPM is to create a mouthful of food that won’t be forgotten and that you won’t be able to find or reproduce anywhere else. Behind this is a journey to explore the main ingredients of the French Mediterranean that we inspire. Sun-soaked artichokes, lemons, olives, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers and girols, the freshest seafood, meats and pasta: they top it all.<\/p>\n
For this reason, they arrive at your table the moment they are ready. They are prepared with the utmost care and precision \u00e0 la minute to protect their integrity. They are created with great attention to detail. They are in our imaginations for a long time, because all this is associated with the search for new ways to express the cuisine of our spiritual home, the French Riviera. Even here, when we talk about travel, it is helpful to understand that inspiration goes back to history; Cuisine Ni\u00e7oise, for example, has a strong Italian influence and pasta – p\u00e2tes – is common. Finally, as with most restaurants on the C\u00f4te d’Azur, we allow occasional traditional French classics on our menu … mon Dieu, but could we?
\nThe result is a light, varied and healthy menu of delicate intensity, unique to us, accentuated by olive oil from the groves of the Alpes-Maritimes. Once inside LPM, you will find a laconic background reminiscent of the French Riviera: light color palette, white porcelain, fine linens, marble. Plus: vibrant, bold colors. Art of 20th century artists from the south of France: provocative, bright, naive. Fresh flowers in incredible vases, unstructured and even unkempt compositions. References and inspirations of the Belle Epoque villas on the Cote d’Azur: mosaics, forge, shutters. And finally, some of the hallmarks of classic French restaurants … 19th – centuryGilded and Harlequin mirrors of the century and, of course, the central bronze sculpture. Each restaurant has signature wall mounted mens and womens pans designed by Max Cartier. All our restaurants have a classic welcome bar, usually made of marble or lava stone with a tin or zinc finish. All have an open cooking counter where visitors can see each freshly chopped tomato in front of them.
