We have completely and unconditionally fallen in love with this place, in the heart of Bordeaux’s historic district: rue Mercy. We couldn’t be more grateful when we left our luggage full of San Marzano tomato sauce in this impressive 850 square meter vaulted space with a balcony reminiscent of an Italian theater. So proud to be making fresco pasta in the home of the queen of the vineyards where the culinary scene is so rich. The menu is very generous and authentic dishes, like in the best Roman trattoria, those that can only be found down the old cobbled alley behind the Colosseum. Here classic Italian cuisine is combined with seafood from the Bordeaux region and mixed with Big Mamma sauce.
