Volta del Fuenti is a Michelin-starred restaurant located in the scenic Giardini del Fuenti, nestled between Vietri sul Mare and Cetara along the SS163 Amalfitana road. Perched on a sloping cliff overlooking the Gulf of Salerno, the restaurant offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea, providing a stunning backdrop for its refined dining experience.
In addition to the main dining area, the Giardini del Fuenti complex includes the Riva Restaurant, which operates during lunchtime and hosts various food and wine events, and the Caveau del Fuenti, an exclusive club offering refined cocktails and gourmet finger foods. Under the culinary direction of Chef Michele De Blasio, the restaurant presents a contemporary interpretation of traditional Campanian cuisine. Chef De Blasio, a native of Sarno, brings a wealth of international experience to his dishes, having trained with renowned chefs such as Pierre Gagnaire, Arzak, Rasmus Kofoed, Martin Berasategui, and Alain Ducasse. His approach emphasizes the use of local, seasonal ingredients, often sourced directly from producers, to create dishes that are both innovative and deeply rooted in the flavors of the region.
The restaurant's interior features elegant design elements, including vaulted ceilings and large arched windows that frame the breathtaking coastal views. Guests can choose from two tasting menus that showcase the chef's creative reinterpretations of classic dishes, such as "asinello vietrese" (a local delicacy) and "animella di vitello (sweetbreads) with citrus, walnuts, and arugula.
