“Mima. Everything brings me back to you, to the love that you have always distilled in the smallest of your gestures, the smallest of your dishes. »
Located on the roof of the Institut du Monde Arabe, Dar Mima is an exceptional restaurant, a dream of the Orient between heaven and earth, created by Laurent de Gourcuff and Jamel Debbouze in homage to the latter's mother, Fatima.
An oriental paradise infused with Arab hospitality, imagined by architect Laura Gonzalez.
For Dar Mima, Fatima shares her secret recipes, such as her bread, her Zaalouk salad, her pastries and, of course, her inimitable couscous.
His dishes write a gourmet and inspired score, that of a cuisine for sharing. From man'ouché to fattouche, from pastilla to tagine, oriental culinary influences mix in this mixed cuisine where the quest for taste and openness are the key words, served by tasty cooking over a wood fire.
As for the drinks, accompanied by a unique serving ritual, they give pride of place to herbaceous and floral accents. The essential mint tea of course, but also signature cocktails where spices add their grain of salt to high-end recipes.
A place of earthly foods, Dar Mima is also a festive meeting place. The gentle bustle of the day is followed, as the evening progresses, by a rhythmic and cheerful oriental atmosphere.
A soundtrack mixing retro and modern accents awakens the imagination through cinema classics. Then, 3 to 4 times a week, live music makes its debut, carried by percussion and guitar and punctuated by a well-chosen playlist, to anchor the spirit of the party in the hearts of guests until late at night .
