Description

The Alelí Marbella restaurant, owned by Dani García Group, opened in the summer of 2022 and has quietly gained a loyal gourmet fan base. Italian cuisine is not only one of the most loved, but also one of the most interpreted by chefs around the world. However, here at Alelí, with sincere attention to the quality of the products used and the technique of preparation, the dishes have an authenticity, but at the same time reflect Dani Garcia's signature style and creativity.
Marbella is a gastronomic hub, already home to Dani Garcia's award-winning Leña restaurant. Now Aleli has blossomed, a new flower in the gastronomic garden of the city. The restaurant is located in the Puente Romano area on the Golden Mile, in a charming Andalusian building with a garden terrace reminiscent of Tuscany.
The menu is a gastronomic journey through the regions of Piedmont, Lombardy, Lazio, Campania and Sicily, with dishes ranging from different types of mortadella to handmade fresh pasta, including agnolotti del plin from Piedmont.
Seduced by the cocktails, we started our unforgettable evening with a classic Venetian Bellini and 'La Gran Selezione di Alelí', a great plate of antipasti. As Simone, our waiter, explained, the sausages were cut to order in an old meat grinder, in the best mode, which maximizes the taste of stracciatella and mortadella de Bologna.
The open kitchen has an amazing wood-fired oven where traditional Neapolitan-style pizzas are prepared and baked to order with a 48-hour fermentation time.
There is also a wide selection of dried and fresh pasta to start your Italian holiday. However, we opted for the gnocchi made with roasted pumpkin rich in blu di bufala cheese and pumpkin oil.
Second plate options included specialties such as beef with marsala wine, chicken with lemon, and lamb. It's a hearty, generous menu that feels authentic, but with original touches.
Aleli's wine range is inspired by Dani Garcia's passion for fresh wines with a Mediterranean twist, so expect delicious Spanish wines as well as Italian wines from small Tuscan producers in Montalcino like Sassicaia, Tignanello or Masseto, plus some rare finds from Rinaldi, Solder or Burlotto .
