The Tourteaux brothers, Gaël and Mickaël, are inseparable. Same hotel high school in Nice (with exams in the same room!), joint training at Negresco during the time of Alain Llorca... and even the desire to work on the good, the real, the tasty, while being your own boss . Result of this fraternal alliance: Flaveur, their baby, to which they devoted all their energy to the point of winning a Michelin star in 2011, and a second in 2018.
How to summarize the Tourteaux “leg”? It is based on a certain form of confidence, daring, well-balanced risk-taking. For example, between the local product and distant spices, they do not choose: it will be both, my captain! At the turn of a plate, a scorpion fish from the Niçoise fishery meets a fish broth enhanced with vadouvan, a mixture of Indian spices with a powerful scent... it was risky, it's a success. A cuisine with character, fine and mastered from start to finish: bravo!
