Le Café Courchevel
- French, Gastronomic, International
The home of JOIA taste, which combines high standards and simplicity, small dishes from here and delicacies from other places, grandmother's recipes and haute couture cocktails. An epicurean and elegant place to live, make connections and have a good time.
Spread across two floors, Joia boasts casual and warm elegance. On a plate, grandmother's recipes are combined with London, New York and Italian delicacies. A few friends are pounding their own guacamole in a mortar, waiting for the next step, while two lovers enjoy a claw of Saint-Jean-de-Luz hake fried Spanish-style with chimichurri sauce.
MICHELIN guide's point of view.
Hélène Darroze's venture is based on festive dishes prepared from her memories of her native Southwest France, with references to the culinary traditions of the Basque Country, Landes and Béarn. Bold flavors, quality ingredients: a nice tribute to the family cuisine of the House of Darroze, invented by her father back in Villeneuve-de-Marsan. Plenty of food to share and desserts to spark your sweet tooth cravings.
