Invitation to travel
“Restaurant Mido offers a completely new approach to the cuisine of the rising sun. Mido comes from the abbreviation "midori" in Japanese, which translates as "green", which is found everywhere in decoration. In a plate? Tempura shrimp with spicy aioli, spinach salad, Peruvian tiradito-inspired sashimi, meat and fish, charcoal-cherry wood Robata BBQ.”
Nestled at the end of the pedestrian rue Florian, behind the elegant agitation of the establishments La Môme and Le Môka, this restaurant is an invitation to discover more than one treasure. The name Mido is a contraction of the japanese word «midori» meaning « green color ». This is the predominant colour of this establishment, opened in 2018 by the founders of the La Môme Group. Noble materials have been used for the decoration; velvet seats, sea green marble bar, golden brass and bamboo ceiling lights are an invitation to travel between several continents. It is the choice of a open-plan kitchen facing the clients that has been retained where we can discover gastronomic wonders mixing flavors of Japan and South America.
